Project shoot 1.

This is my first time to do some test shot in London and I have found some important points through these photos. 

1. lighting. Such as lighting positions, the quality of photography lighting, control the photography lighting, and improving the light.

   2. Using Symmetry composition, rule of thirds, triangular composition and  to improve photography composition. 

3. Angle and lens,  camera creates perspective and spatial relations with the rest of the world. 

4.  Try to snapshot some photos.                                                                           

project ideas.

I want to express the essence of show window,  the desire of people pursue good life and the contrast between the real world and fantasy land. I will do this project through the reflect light of show window and taking some candid photographs when people see the show window. For example, I took a photo about a old man were looking at the young clothes, it can represent that old man also desire to a younger life. A woman are looking at the make up products, it can represent women are pursue beauty. However, the essence of show window is to let consumers to buy their products.

These photographs by Windowswear are focusing on the show windows of different brands. I have drawn my inspiration from this website. Windowswear is a fashion technology company founded in 2012 and headquartered in New York City that showcases display windows in real-time in major cities. The design of the show window can show the culture of a street  more or less. I will focus on the London's show window. In usual, because the light on the glass will cause inverted image, so many people will avoid this phenomenon. But the inverted image is what I need. Modern show window and classic London building will be a interesting contrast. Moreover, film '' They live'' also gave me the inspiration.  ''They live'' is emphasizing the ideology. Whatever the show window is, the essence of it is let people consume their products. The designers will design the show window through the desire of people to pursue a better life. So when I see these show windows, I will think about the ideology.  

Project development: practice in Paris.

I try to use triangular composition to take these photos, triangles are one of the best compositional techniques that can use in street photography to fill the frame, add balance, and add movement in photos. 

In this group of photos, the emphasis is putting on the symmetry. In photography composition, symmetrical can be effectively used to create a sense of harmony, balance and proportion. It soothes the eyes and mind of the viewer.

I try to take some shots of scenes in Paris,  all of these photos are taking through different distances. Such as seme-panoramic, long-range perspective and half close shot.
